Today was a momentous day for my daddy. His team, Manchester City, won the Premier League for the first time, but they left it until the last minute of the season to do it. They scored two goals in two minutes to seal it.

Daddy needs a haircut (and City won the Premier League)
Also on this day... Manchester City won the Premier League by scoring two goals in added time to beat QPR 3-2 - only a win was enough!
A hundred and tooth
Also on this day... Roberto Mancini backs Manchester City to clinch the Premier League - but says whatever happens they've played best football this season
I have a tooth!! As of today, my first tooth… finally, came through. After weeks of feeling it, it’s broken the surface.
And it came though on the day that my great grandfather – on my daddy’s side – would have been 100 years old, which is quite cool!

Stars in their eyes
Also on this day... Vladimir Putin is sworn in as Russia's president for the third time
Two of my cousins were here for the weekend – Matthew and Odhran from Belfast.
There was a biscuit-making session going on this afternoon – everyone was involved rolling out dough, cutting out stars and then decorating the biscuits when they came out of the oven.

Singing together
Also on this day... Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Kate’s friend, Laura, was here today and the girls played outside and inside, upstairs and downstairs.
They also took it it turns to keep me entertained by tickling me, singing to me, juggling for me and generally being good sports!
I’m experimenting with different sounds and try to sing along – I’m not quite there yet, but, with practice, I know I can be as good as them!

It’s bath time again!
Also on this day... Manchester City beat title rivals Manchester United 1-0 to go top of the Premier League on goal difference with two games left.
I’ve always enjoyed being in the bath, but lately I’ve been having more regular bath times!
I was born early in the morning and I was always more active in my mummy’s tummy at night. This continued after I was born – not much I can do about it.

Tickling makes you laugh
Also on this day... Chelsea overcome Barcelona to reach the Champions League final.
Being tickled is funny. It makes you laugh. Having someone blow a raspberry (not the fruit) on your tummy makes you laugh.
Lots of things make me laugh and laughing makes me feel good, so I like it!!
Mummy likes to spend time tickling me, probably because she likes to hear me laugh and everyone in the room smiles too.

Half a year old today
Also on this day... The successor to Sir Clive Sinclair's ZX81, the ZX Spectrum, is 30 years old.
It was an anniversary today. I am six months old. Exactly half a year since I came into this world on an auspicious day in October.
As you can see, I’m loving my food – okay, I can’t feed myself yet, but this service is great!

Playing with spoons
Also on this day... Stephen Hendry made a 147 maximum break in a first-round match at the World Snooker Championships
My new favourite toys are two plastic spoons that mummy and daddy sometimes use to feed me with.
Forget the expensive, shiny toys that people have spent years designing…!

Getting used to this food lark
Also on this day... Six world powers and Iran met in Istanbul for talks aimed at ending the deadlock over Tehran's controversial nuclear programme.
It’s been a while since I ate my first solid food.
I must admit that it took a bit of getting used to, but I quite like it now. Organic carrots, potatoes, courgette, pasta are all on the menu! They’re much nicer than the porridge stuff, although you can’t beat a good rusk for breakfast!

Inishowen Rural Arts Network
Also on this day... American Bubba Watson won a Masters play-off with Louis Oosthuizen to secure his first major title
Today my mummy helped to launch the Inishowen Rural Arts Network. The launch was held in Patisserie de Pascal with an exhibition of lots of artwork, music, poetry and some of Pascal’s lovely food.
This is a photo of me with Seoirse Ó Dochartaigh – a musician and artist who was at the launch.
