Summer seems to have arrived at last. Daddy says it’s too early, but we should enjoy it while it lasts anyway!
The average temperature in Donegal in May is 12.7° Celsius. This week we were struggling to cope with 25° Celsius – positively tropical! The highest ever May temperature recorded in Ireland is only 28.4° Celsius.
So, well protected from the worst the May sunshine can throw at us, we sat in the garden on the swing, walked on the beach and generally made the most of what doesn’t happen very often.
