All together after mum getting her Masters

Today was the winter solstice.

It was also the day that my mum graduated with her Master’s degree from the University of Ulster in Counselling and Therapeutic Communications.

We spent the day in Belfast and at the University where she received her certificate dressed in gown and mortar board, with trumpets playing and all the pomp and circumstance surrounding a graduation ceremony.

We’re all very proud of mum and think she’s great! Not many people will receive their Master’s degree and have such a lovely baby all in the same year!
