Dad and my brother Darragh went to the cinema today. The rest of us took some of mums painting to the art gallery for her exhibition later this month.
We had lunch in Derry before that. S’funny, when you’re my age, everyone wants to look at you!
In the morning – and the reason my brother and sister were out of school – was the unveiling of mum’s art at the end of the Derry Peace Bridge, which has been used by over a quarter of a million people already! The art can be seen on the Rivers of the World website – mum’s is the Foyle and Londonderry College one. Dad took the photos too…
